We feel that this gives you an unbiased report on the health concerns of your water.
If your water is municipally supplied, the Safe Drinking Water Act covers it. Municipal water, though treated, is still hard, chlorinated and fluoridated. It may comply with government standards, but does it meet your standards? You can obtain the report from your supplier, which details your water quality.
If your water source is from a well the following applies. There may be bacteria in your source water that a state certified lab would be able to detect.
We can assist you with locating a state certified lab. There is also testing available through your local health department, which can indicate the presence of coliform, and other bacteria. These tests typically cost to be performed.
As a well water user, it is up to the consumers to monitor their own water quality. It is recommended to test your water annually to insure a safe healthy supply. .
